Most commercial river trips stop at Deer Creek Falls, the cool narrows, and the Deer Creek Trail at Mile 136 along the river. The trail climbs up a ways and becomes a series of wondrous Tapeats sandstone narrows, and eventually leads to a smaller waterfall and joins the Thunder River Trail, which leads out of the canyon to the North Rim.
